Dryland Training Weeks 3 and 4

Hopefully you all know that the first two weeks of dryland training for the 2015-2016 season will be completed today.  The general consensus is that everyone is having fun and getting faster and stronger!

Remember that everyone is invited to attend Dryland.  We just need completed EZ Waivers from all participants.

The training during the next two-week period will be:

Sunday, October 18 from 8-10am @ the lake: Meet at the East Boat Launch Ramp.  We will work out on the shoreline and on the Woodland Trail Loop

Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 3-4pm @ Snow Summit will be a Mountain Bike ride.  Helmets are required.

Friday, October 23, 2015 from 3-4pm @ Snow Summit will focus on Agility

Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 8-??am will be a Family Mountain Bike Ride starting @ Snow Summit. Family is invited!  The plan is to do a loop around Snow Summit and end up back in the base area.  EZ Waivers will need to be filled out for all that participate.

Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 3-4pm @ Snow Summit will focus on Power Drills

Friday, October 30, 2015 from 3-4pm @ Snow Summit will focus on Agility

Sunday, November 1, 2015 DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME ENDS AT 2:00 AM Will be the Equipment Swap from 9-11, followed by a Pot Luck Lunch, and an obstacle race!

The attire for all dryland activities is athletic shoes and clothing that permits easy movement.  Athletes should bring a water bottle to all sessions.  For the Mountain Bike ride, athletes need helmets and can trade their athletic shoes for bike shoes if they have clipless pedals.  Additionally, they should bring their own bikes, if they have them.  Otherwise, Kyle will help them get a bike to ride from the rental shop, but please give him at least a week prior notice so he can be prepared. Your racer must also be present on the prior Sunday so the racers who need to borrow a bike can be fitted for one.  Kyle can be contacted through: kwormsbecker@mammothresorts.com.
