Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Snow Summit Race Team ("SSRT", "we", "us") website at https://snowsummitraceteam.org and its members area. By using the site, creating an account, or registering an athlete, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the household members you manage. Snow Summit Race Team is a program of the Big Bear Ski Education Foundation (BBSEF).

Accounts and households

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. A household account lets a parent or guardian manage profiles for family members, including minor athletes; you confirm that you are authorized to provide the information you enter for them. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials safe.

Program registration and memberships

Registering an athlete for a program, or purchasing a membership or team products, creates an order with the fees shown at checkout. Program placement may depend on age, ability, and capacity. Some programs additionally require current licenses with sport governing bodies (such as U.S. Ski & Snowboard, USASA, IFSA, or FIS), signed waivers and releases, and completed medical and insurance information before an athlete may participate.

Fees and payments

Fees, deadlines, and any available discounts are described on the Membership Info page. Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment processor; by submitting a payment method you authorize us to charge the amounts you approve at checkout, and any invoices you choose to pay from your account. Unless stated otherwise for a specific program, fees are due by the published deadlines and unpaid balances may result in suspension of participation.

Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the program and the timing of the request, as described in the program's terms on the Membership Info page or otherwise communicated by BBSEF. To request a refund, contact us through the Help Center.

Participation and safety

Ski and snowboard racing are inherently risky activities. Participation in team programs is conditioned on signed liability releases and waivers, which are separate documents from these terms. Athletes and families agree to follow team codes of conduct, coach instructions, and the rules of the mountain and of event organizers.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to access other households' data, interfering with the operation of the service, or submitting false information. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Content and intellectual property

The content on this site — including text, logos, photographs, and team marks — belongs to SSRT/BBSEF or its licensors and may not be reused without permission. Links to third-party sites (including social media and governing-body sites) are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided "as is". While we work to keep schedules, fees, and program information accurate, they may change, and the site may be occasionally unavailable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SSRT and BBSEF are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits the effect of separately signed waivers or releases, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, and continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of San Bernardino County, California.
